Space Defend

Space Defend is a shooter-space-RPG with tower defense (TD) elements. It plays as a top down shooter, W A S D movement, mouse to aim.

The main focus of this project was to make an action/tower defense game with a high level of customization for each ship in your team, and have lots of ways to dodge/tank/heal your way through different missions.

Customize your gameplay with:

• Stat Points to spend every level - Spend them in speed, armor, health, damage, shields...
• Custom Ship gear - Each ship can equip a variety of gear types, +armor, +damage, +speed...
• Custom Gun layouts - Each gun class unlocks 4 unique guns that can be used on any ship once unlocked. Heals, Debuffs, AOE, pure DPS, Buff/Auras, many more...
• Guns level up - Higher gun levels unlock mods that will change how the gun works.
• Custom Player Accessories - Specialize your commanders equipment items to give all your ships/productions the boost you choose.
• Research Skills - Research into many different trees, each specializing your fleet/station more to your play style. Increase nearly every stat in the order you choose.

Many ways to play:

• Tower Defense Waves - Progressively getting harder, with better loot as you get farther.
• Do Missions - Survive a set time, Mining, Offense, Defend your base
• Explore Space - Open space offers harder enemies as you travel farther into space. Find random events and bosses.
